Bob Seda |
|
Bob has
sung for Nicholas Cage, Martin Scorcese, Tony Bennett, Rudy
Giuliani and has appeared on The David Letterman Show. He also
sings with a Barbershop Chorus, the Westchester Chordsmen, for
the past 13 years. He has also sung in three groups formed by
Billy Calbo; and is a Cantor in church. Bob has traveled the United
States performing with his Barbershop Quartet Variety Pack. He
and his family have won various singing contests with their
unique talent. Bob sings lead, first tenor, second tenor and
baritone. |

Al
Fennell |
|
Al
has over 30 years of musical experience. He is a professor
of music and teaches music in upper Westchester County. He
was the director for the world famous Westchester Chordsmen
Barbershop Chorus for 10 years; and has performed nationally
and internationally for captive audiences. His music has
been heard in the mountains of Italy and on the Great Wall
of China. Al anchors the Classic Sounds with his rich bass. |

Gabe
Dassa |
|
Gabe is
an Orthopaedic Surgeon. He has grown up around Doo-Wop singers
since he was in diapers. His father was a childhood friend of
Robert Carr of Robert and Johnny, and he developed his ear
listening to the pioneers of Doo-Wop music who sang in his
home while he was growing up. In between operations, Gabe has
performed in community theater productions as Jesus in Jesus
Christ Superstar, and in Godspell. He is also a member of
Westchester Chordsmen. With Classic Sounds he sings lead and
first tenor, second tenor and falsetto. |

Steve
Aversano |
|
Steve is
the youngest of the group. His Doo-Wop career began in the Fall
of 2000 when he became a member of the Destinaires. Steve has
an excellent voice and ear; and he has a natural ear for the
oldies. He has been performing since the age of 11 in
community theater and various productions. His resume includes
performances in Guys and Dolls, Jekyll and Hyde, Beauty and the
Beast, Les Miserables, Annie Get Your Gun, Phantom, and his most
recent portrayal of John the Baptist in Godspell. With Classic
Sounds, Steve sings lead, first tenor, second tenor and
falsetto. |

Lou Valentino |
|
Lou has
been entertaining people since he played at the NY Worlds Fair in 1964 at
the age of 11. Besides playing the state night club circuit for the past 35
years, he was a member of “Nino and the EbbTides” from 1990 to their
split in 2002. His present band “Class Act” is currently working the
Bronx and Westchester night club circuit. He has been the leader of “Valentino
Entertainment” throughout his career performing at weddings and functions of
all types. Lou sings lead and second tenor with the Classic
Sounds.. |
